Mom and Dad - thank you for your endless love and support throughout my life. I’m so grateful that you encouraged me in all ways, and were excited for me when I decided to move all the way to California for school. I couldn’t have succeeded without you and I’m so grateful and lucky to have you as my parents. Thank you for all the bedtime stories, the notes and duct-tape art in my lunch boxes, and all the late night runs to Office Depot to finish a school project.
Thank you for welcoming Alex into our family so warmly - I know he is the dogs’ favorite between the two of us for sure! I can’t wait to celebrate with you both and love you both so much.
Chris and Ed - just like with Natalie, our story began in Slottman Hall (when you were helping her move out) -- and over Words with Friends (and Chess with Friends!). Since then, I've loved growing closer to you, whether over Scrabble, going on the Napa Wine Train, or traversing the Badlands. Thank you for the Nebraska/cold-weather clothes, the cute pictures of Natalie, and your love. Love, Alex
Ma and Da - thank you for all the love and care you've given me. I am so lucky to be able to call you my parents. Thank you for being there since day one, for showing me kindness, and also toughness when I needed it. I can't wait for the next chapter of our lives as a family; thank you for accepting Natalie wholeheartedly and loving her as much as you do me. Love you both from the bottom of my heart!
Dr. and Mrs. Charn - how wonderful it has been knowing you both these past few years! I have felt so welcome and loved by you and your family and I am forever grateful. Thank you for opening your home, your pantry, and your hearts to me from day one. I’m so excited to officially join your family and look forward to many more rounds of jackbox and dominoes to come! Love, Natalie
